Il Teatro

Italian - Expensive

Four Seasons Hotel, West Bay, Doha, Qatar
Il Teatro is truly in a league of its own when it comes to Italian dining in Doha. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, in an elegant, chic design. It’s clear that the Chef is passionate about his dishes and each plate you are presented with is nothing short of a work of art. The service was unquestionable when we visited and our every need was met– and that’s not something we can say often! The restaurant also houses an outdoor terrace, overlooking the Arabian Gulf– not suitable for all seasons, but in the right weather, it’s well worth reserving a table outdoors. Its not as expensive as you may think– for what we had the prices seemed very reasonable indeed.

Amazing !We had an outstanding romantic anniversary. Impeccable service, very delicious food. We received as a gift a very nice cake and photo. WE had a lovely time, and for a 5 stars restaurant ..the price was OK. We paid only 800 QAR/2 persons drinks and food. For sure we will go again ..the night was perfect.

Foreignres and turist use to go in Italy for many reasons. One is the cuisine and they love it as it is. Why, abroad and here in Qatar, Italian cheks destroy the taste of the italian food , adapting it to the local taste ?????? It is not Italian food.......

The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect. The service was good. The server was very respectful and made sure that we were all comfortable. For my main, I had the Penne Amatriciana with Beef Bacon, Stew Onions, Fresh Tomato Sauce and as my dessert I ordered the Classic Tiramisú, both of which were delicious.

Love this restaurant! Does it deserve to be number one in your list? Not sure. But the food and service is amazing.

we heard a lot about it ,specially that 4 season it mean as per our experience before in other country should be more than 5 stars ,we went for a romantic time but we came back unhappy ,food wasent as we imagined and as they told us some plates came cold and no taste at allno favor, appetizer was nice but my pasta was overcooked .Extremely overpriced, with stingy portions and non-existent sevice. we will not come again

Me and my wife visited the restaurant over the Eid holiday and were very dissapointed with the whole meal.

To start the Fois Gras was over portioned and the pears were not caramalised sufficently , my wifes trio of shellfish was ok and tasty but lackin the wow factor for a signiture dish.

The pasta course was the slipper lobster which had far too much chilli and garlic and was bordering on a south east asian noodle dish.

The main dish of guinea fowl with chocholate sauce and juniper berries just didn\'t work and the whole dish clashed , a great piece of meat ruined by a very poor concept. My wifes Hammour was very good but runied by a over bitter tomato relish that was again over portioned and ruined a beautiful piece of fish.

I would expect the Four Seasons signiture eatery to be head and shoulders above what we had and the meal was very poor considering the total cost . The Chef is indulging in a change that does not compliment the restaurant and they need a rethink.

Gordon Ramsay\'s Maze is still head and shoulders above any restaurant in Qatar for the total dining experience

This is the best restaurant in the whole of Qatar. I have not been to any that beats the food, service, and ambiance.

Total bill was about £300 (lobster and champagne), but that does not bother me.

The night was perfect.

Il teatro is my favourite Italian restaurant in Doha. I went for a romantic evening and it was such a nice evening. The service was perfct and the food delcious. They eve nlet us take our drinks outside aftewards and sit on the beach to finsih our deserts! very romantic- but NOT cheap- we paid about 1000 QR for 2.
