About The Restaurant

‘Mykonos’ – a small but beautiful island of the coast of Greece is well known for its stunning landscape and exciting nightlife and entertainment. Well now Doha has its very own Mykonos and very cleverly it manages to live up to same reputation as the island. Set within the Intercontinental Hotel, this is an exciting addition to the hotel’s already impressive list. Located by the pool and to the side of the beach the restaurant consists of both an inside area and an outdoor terrace. While the inside is crisp and slick with every addition to the restaurant carefully planned and thought out, it is also welcoming and inviting. The outside terrace is sophisticated and rather magical – and having a view of the pool, sea and city earns it a place as having one of the best views in the city. The excellent food is hard to describe as a result of its sheer perfection. The Greek salads were perfectly dressed; the fish melted in the mouth and the octopus the best we have had in Doha. The cocktails on offer do not disappoint either – the rose water infused vodka topped off with lavender was just a pure delight. This restaurant has a lot going for it – beautiful food, idyllic location, welcoming staff – naturally this does come at a price and as a result it won’t be for all but if you fancy something a bit different and want to try some authentic Greek food then Mykonos is most definitely the place to go. We can't get enough of it.

I think this is one of the most romantic restaurants in Doha. My husband took me here - there were candles on the tables and beautiful music - it was a perfect night!

love love love it. simple delicious food, not cheap but not mega expensive like some others in Doha- good service and a nice new modern restaurant. you can sit outside too if its not too hot which is really nice, but sometimes there are flies around so beware. I loved the octopus and the greek salad.

I took my husband to celebrate his birthday at Mykonos. Loved the seafood, esp the lobster spaghetti. The salad was scrumptious and a great accompaniment. The Staff were very polite and courteous! Ambiance - really romantic. We had a great time there and definitely going back for more !

Mykonos restaurant just got more delicious and quicker to enjoy. Our Greek Chef Kostas introduces the new Express Business Lunch menu with a choice of a starter, main course and dessert ready to be enjoyed both in our tempting outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens and the pool or our indoor cozy & lounge area. Sun - Thu 12:00-15:30pm.

Nothing exciting. Nothing too special. I don't think their chefs still taste the dish after cooking. The last time I went there, I ordered the moussaka which was heavily seasoned that it overpowered the mince. Plus, it was a sloppy moussaka. They can do better. That's all.

Just came back from a lovely dinner with my husband at Mykonos. Being 6pm on a Thursday, we were able to get a table at short notice (they were booked out from 8pm onwards), I personally liked being there at the earlier time as it wasn\'t busy. The outdoor terrace was perfect for the weather this time of year, plus there were heaters as it was a bit chilly. The staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. The ambience was calm and quite romantic with the dim lighting, candles and central fountain. Some of the nicest, tastiest food I have eaten in Doha, will definitely be back again soon.
